Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s son, was reportedly hospitalized in Los Angeles on Monday after crashing his electric bicycle into a car on a busy street.
Jolie-Pitt, 20, was riding his e-bike on Los Feliz Boulevard at approximately 5 p.m., according to TMZ, when he approached a red light and rear-ended a car stopped at the intersection, law enforcement sources told the outlet. He was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Jolie-Pitt was experiencing hip pain when emergency services arrived at the scene, eyewitnesses told TMZ, and medics say he may have had a minor brain bleed from the incident. He was transported to a nearby Los Angeles hospital for treatment, the outlet reports.
The Los Angeles Police Department told People that a man in his early 20s was riding a scooter when an accident was reported at 5:12 p.m. on July 29, and that a severe traffic collision report was completed.
THR has reached out to reps for Jolie and Pitt, as well as the LAPD.
Jolie and ex-husband Pitt — who split in 2016 and are reportedly nearing the end of their divorce negotiations — also share children Maddox Chivan, 22, Zahara Marley, 19, Shiloh Nouvel, 18, and twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, 16.
More to come.
